What does an home Aquarium needs?
Keeping water Plants, fishes, Shrimps or a combination of these may require slightly different method in taking care of it but the logic is basically the same and it's can be very simple.

Fishes or shrimps, like all of us, required food, water and Air. The natural provide everything they need naturally, but in our home, we would have to provide them with the what is missing and that's it

If you search the web or books, you may found tons of information of what you are needed to take care of your water pet but with my own experience, the key to maintain a home Aquarium in simple way is as simple as having a balance of the air, food, water.

what's that mean is , don't over crowd your Aquarium with fishes, don't over or underfeed your pet, make sure there are fair enough spaces for your pet and air and let them have good water and usually that's all you need to keep your pet happy and healthy.

you may go through the below simple explanations or simply following the simple instructions on the page "how to take care your Aquarium"

Food

Feed your pet with the right food, it's very easy to find food on the market which will suit your pet need, at the same time, make sure you don't over feed or under feed them, ( it just like the case for us, eating too much and not enough are both not that good for our health). One more reason is that the leftover food and your pet 's poo ( yes, they will poo more if you feed more) will make the water dirty.

Air

We mostly refer to oxygen when we are talking your pet fishes/shrimp, in the natural world, oxygen comes from varies source including plants, water movement etc. in our home, we can provide oxygen with water plants but if this is not sufficient or if you do not choose to have any plant, we can simply provide oxygen with an air pump.

Water

Just like human, our pet need clean water, but not necessary mean pure water, even for us, water has many type of minerals in it which is good for us and our pet.
As a result, We need to replace new water into the system as times goes by to replenish minerals and take out the dirty water.

make sure they have a nice water temp suitable for your pet ( yes, fishes also can get a cold and also can get sick when it's too hot)

there are much more detail to each of these but in here, but again, we are trying to create an home aquarium for joy but not troubles and remember
"keep it simple, don't overcrowd your Aquarium and you will realize how easy to have fun with it"
